The Pirates trailed 1-0 after one and 3-0 after four, and plated their lone run of the game in the top of the sixth on a Montesano error.
Avery LaFontaine pitched all six innings, allowing just five hits and three runs (two earned) while striking out eight without issuing a walk.
Kendall Humphrey and Brytin Dollarhyde tallied Adna’s two base hits offensively.
The Pirates (13-5) will look to bounce back on Wednesday, when they begin district tournament play in the district quarterfinals at Fort Borst Park.
