The Oakville volleyball team fell in its season opener Friday, 25-7, 25-7, 25-11 to Evergreen Lutheran on Friday.

“There are some wrinkles to be ironed out,” Oakville coach Shawna Howe said. “The player of the game was Giselle Ayon who is brand new to volleyball, but has been showing amazing and consistent growth and effort put forth into learning this sport.”

Oakville will play at Firm Foundation on Monday.
