2A Girls Golf: Tigers Top Warriors, 41-28

Samantha Johnston and Mazzie Nowicki each scored a match-high 11 points as Centralia took down Rochester, 41-28, at Riverside Golf Course Monday in 2A Evergreen Conference play.

Lily Miller and Maddi Stoeckler each added nine points for the TIgers, while Elizabeth Orellano and Zahira Ramirez each scored one point.

“We’re on a roll,” Centralia coach Hal Gronseth said.



“Rochester was led by Amerika Jones’ nine points, while Izzy Masias scored eight, Audrey Williams five, Bailey McLellen four, Evelyn Houghton two and Elaine Slifer two.

Centralia travels to Shelton on Thursday and Rochester heads to Shelton on Wednesday.
