Mossyrock garnered nine all-league football selections and Winlock earned three spots as the 2021 Pac 5 Conference All-League Football Team was announced Tuesday.
The Pac 5 Conference is a newly-formed league that began in 2021 when Winlock and Mossyrock dropped down to Class 1B football. Other teams include Naselle, Northwest Christian (Lacey) and Taholah.
Offensive selections include Vikings’ junior running back Matteo Mendoza, junior wideout Gunner Mulligan, senior wideout Ryan Bellino and senior offensive lineman Tryn Thompson.
Defensive selections for the Vikings’ are junior defensive lineman Kainen Zavodsky, sophomore defensive lineman Sage Greison, junior defensive back Gunner Mulligan and senior defensive back Ryan Bellino. Defensive picks for Winlock are senior defensive lineman Aiden Freitas and junior defensive back Neal Patching.
Mossyrock senior quarterback Aiden Weist and Winlock sophomore quarterback Payton Sickles were both named to the honorable mention team. Naselle senior Jimmy Strange was named League MVP, Naselle coach Jeff Eaton was named Coach of the Year and Northwest Christian (Lacey) earned the Team Sportsmanship Award.
