Hailey Brooks scored 15 points with 12 rebounds and Caelyn Marshall added 12 points and four steals and the Mossyrock Vikings blew out the visiting Willapa Valley Vikings 50-15 in the 1B District 4 semifinals on Monday.
The victorious Vikings turned in their best performance of the season, according to coach Autumn Moorcroft, and the results bear that out. Mossyrock allowed just nine first-half points and pitched a third-quarter shutout as it played together and fervently on the offensive end.
“We shared the ball well tonight,” Moorcroft said. “It’s the best game we had so far this season.”
Mossyrock will take on Taholah for the district crown on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Oakville.
