Boys Wrestling: Marti, Ashley Win Big at Raymond Memorial Tourney

RAYMOND — Tenino’s Robert Marti and Adna’s Lucas Ashley each captured individual titles Saturday at the Doug Makaiwi Memorial Invitational at Raymond.

Marti won the 220-pound championship with a pin in 5:22 over North Beach’s Johnathan Jerome. Ashley, the defending 2B state champion, won the 182-pound title with a 10-2 major decision over Shorewood’s Hunter Tibodeau.



Tenino placed fourth with 92 points and Adna came in 12th with 41 points. Shorewood won the tournament with 167.5 points.

Tenino’s Easton Snider placed fourth at 120; Austin Hohner placed 4th at 132; Kysen Cox placed fourth at 138; Andres Capilla-Zamudio was second at 195. For Adna, Tristan Ridley was fourth at 145.
