Twin Transit Offering Free Rides During Garlic Fest

Posted

Twin Transit is offering free passage on all of its routes during the Washington State Garlic Fest, which runs from Friday-Sunday at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds.

The transit agency has made a habit of offering free fares during large events this summer in the Twin Cities, including ChehalisFest and the Southwest Washington Fair.

“We invite the community to come on down and support the local craft and food vendors at Garlic Fest,” Kelly Sneed, administrative assistant for the Southwest Washington Fair, said in a press release. “We are very appreciative of Twin Transit getting the community out to enjoy Garlic Fest. It’s great that they are giving free bus rides all weekend long.”
