Rocking Chair Ranch in Rochester will host an “Autumn Homesteading Faire,” presented by The Rochester Homesteading & Self Sufficiency Group.

The third-annual Lewis County Christian Women’s Conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Corbet Theater at Centralia College. 

The event is organized by Focus Forward Ministries. 

This year’s theme is “Heart of a Warrior: How to successfully succeed today’s daily challenges and struggles according to biblical principles.”

Doors open at 9 a.m. with opening speaker Charity Rattray from Idaho beginning at 10 a.m. A lunch break will follow from noon to 1:30 and an afternoon session featuring Sherina Sours from Battle Ground will resume at that time.

Enjoy the variety of mediums in painting (pastel, oil, acrylic, watercolor), sculpture, glass, jewelry, pottery, mixed media, fiber art, carved or turned wood, basketry, enameling, collage, metal, and cement. A reception and gala will open the Studio Tours the Friday evening before the start of the tour at the Historic Centralia Train Depot, Railroad Avenue in Centralia.
