Letter to the editor: Questions for the transgender athlete movement

Posted

It is interesting to me that we only see transgender female athletes competing in noncontact sports such as track and field and swimming. Why don’t we see transgender female athletes competing in contact sports like collegiate women’s basketball and the WNBA?

To me, the answer is obvious. It is because their intrinsic maleness would immediately become a dominating force on the court. Their superior speed, power and jumping ability would be all too obvious to spectators and would cause injury to the social engineering cause fueling the transgender athlete movement.

Speaking of injury, physical injury levels to natural born female players would skyrocket and their playing time would diminish. You can alter the genitalia you are given, but you cannot alter the genes you are given. The genes are the foundation of who you are physically.

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” — Genesis 1:27
