With the demand for smoking accessories increasing and an interest in niche retail, Matt Skinner decided to open a glass shop that sells more than just an average bong. Skinner opened Paradise Glass the first week of March in hopes of providing the best selection, service and education.
“It’s more of a lifestyle store, so when (the store) is at its full potential, you’ll be able to come in here and buy something that’s not glass-related, but lifestyle-related,” Skinner said.
The store offers local and national glass products, socks, buttons, greeting cards and every flavor of Jones Soda that exists.
Skinner said he wanted to create a vibrant environment that provides items to support the lifestyles of his customers. The location of the store being next to Dutch Bros. Coffee also goes along with the morning caffeine, wake and bake routine, Skinner said.
