Bummy and Herb Yantis celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary this week.
Bummy and Herb Yantis celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on June 27. They were married in 1947 at the Toledo Presbyterian Church.
The couple lived in Longview the first seven years of their marriage, later moving to Anacortes.The family came back to Lewis County in 1969 when Herb managed Yantis Shell, accompanied by Bummy’s Burger Bar.
They have two children, Steve (Lucy) Yantis, of Toledo and Janie (Vern) Croy in Chehalis, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
