Jack Blain, Rochester, will be celebrating his 80th birthday with an open house 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Gate Schoolhouse, 16295 Moon Road SW, Rochester.
Blain moved to Rochester from Spokane in 1960 and began working for the Rochester School District. He worked as a teacher and principal for Rochester from 1960 to 1990.
It is requested that no gifts be brought to the celebration, but wear your WSU Cougar shirt.
