Toledo Grad Gets $3,000 Scholarship for EWU
Brent Wood, Winlock, has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship for $3,000 to Eastern Washington University for the 2015-16 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to students with a 3.8-plus high school grade point average and a SAT score of 1250-plus.
Wood graduated from Toledo High School last June as class valedictorian. He was a Running Start student. He currently attends EWU, where he plans to study pre-medicine.
At Toledo, Wood played varsity basketball and was involved in National Honor Society.
Wood is the son of Leslie and Randy Wood, Winlock.
