Centralia Grad Gets Juris Doctor from Penn State

Meera Puri, a 2008 graduate of Centralia High School, recently received her juris doctor degree from Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law.

Puri was inducted into the Woolsack Society. Membership is conferred upon students who rank in the top 15 percent of their class.

She also was awarded the Thomas A. Beckley Prize for legal writing. Her piece was published in the Penn State Law Review.

Puri will will be clerking for a judge in Virginia Beach, Virginia, starting in August.

She is the daughter of Anil and Teresa Puri, Centralia.
