Kids Get Involved in Parent-Teacher Conferences

Melissa Styger, a third-grade teacher at Edison Elementary in Centralia, is doing something different at parent-teacher conferences this year. She’s having a handful of her students lead the conferences themselves. They have to review their classwork and give a Google Slides presentation about their progress so far to their parents. Shown with Styger, in back, are Zach Hubbard and his parents, Adam and Velynda Hubbard.
