Oakview Grangers have been busy. In October, members Joyce Kludt and Alice Coakley distributed nearly 100 dictionaries to the Lincoln-Jefferson third graders as part of the nationwide Dictionary Project and National Grange’s “Words for Thirds” program.
Thanksgiving found members and their guests sharing Thanksgiving potluck before a rousing evening of bingo, where winners selected from an array of prizes.
Culminating a successful year, Grangers and friends gathered on Dec. 1 to share Christmas goodies and await Santa’s arrival at their traditional Christmas program. Those in attendance were treated to an evening of music provided by Elliot Townsend, Morgan Reeves and Ecko Araguz.
