Chronicle Facebook followers respond to post of “Eight Lawmakers’ Secluded Struggle to Broker McCleary Funding Deal:”

Bill Josh: They did do their jobs. They stopped massive increases including possible income taxes.

Kathleen Alexander: Of course the Democrats moved substantially to the right’s regressive proposal to increase property taxes. Of course!

Carolyn Gage Fuleihan: By reducing the B&O tax for all, the new budget creates an environment friendly for increased jobs. Higher taxes means less jobs; lower taxes means more jobs.

Chris Perkins Nichols: Too bad it took them this long to get something done. I would have been fired if it took me over 5 years to get a job done. They act like it was an accomplishment. Really? We elected you to do a JOB, do your JOBS!

Very enjoyable profile, mostly because he sounds like such a character. I love that he’s dedicated to “being a thorn” for arts education. More power to him!

With respect, at least half of the people in this nation voted for an audit of the federal election of 2016 and a new direction in this nation. The irregularities, confirmed illegal votes, alleged Russian interference, federal government interference, and let’s NOT forget the past Gregoire re-election fiasco. Remember that one? Well, voter fraud is real, much more pervasive then people would have you believe. Washington state has a long history of shoddy and disputed elections. It is past time to audit the vote! What do people have to be afraid of? If there is no problem, it will restore confidence in our election system. However, as we all know from the last election where there is smoke there is fire. And the USS America is on fire! Audit the Vote and let us see once and for all who and what is corrupting our electoral system.
