Chronicle Facebook followers respond to post of “Chehalis Pool Fee Raised to $5 Per Person; Season Pass Unveiled:”

Pat Edwards: They say attendance was low during the week? That’s why you needed to stand in line an hour before they opened to make sure you could get in before the limit was full. Every time we went it was full. That’s just not right. You are making nothing affordable for families to do. Really! Very disappointed with the city of Chehalis.

Stan Craig: It seems like there should be a way to get people there without the potential risk of losing them from higher costs. This is a great asset to the community, I would hate to see it get so high priced it won’t be used.

Sara Dailey: My family won’t even be able to go. It would be a possibility if the season pass was available to Centralia residents as well.

Leah Marie Spross: Can’t wait for the one in Centralia to be fixed. I don’t understand why passes are only available for residents in Chehalis.

Andy Watts: We have way too many overhead power lines in this state. Bury it. No more outages.

The unscheduled meets are a tip of the iceberg. The lack of necessary experience and education cause problems not seen by the outsider or the average citizen. I am sorry Eric, the solution for a real and permanent fix is not simple. If you approach the issue without serious research and analysis you will not fix the problem. You will put a Band Aid on the problem. Further, what is the basic design of our government ... elected officials. City and counties in Washington have a different design, under the legislative design.

Went to school with Tish she did for sure carry a smile on her face 100 percent at all times. Condolences to the entire family. She will be sadly missed.
