Red Schindler
Red Schindler, Chehalis, will be celebrating his 90th birthday 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Judy’s Country Kitchen, 3210 Galvin Road, Centralia.
Schindler was born March 21, 1925, at Mt. Angel, Oregon. He has lived in this area for 88 years, attending Chehalis schools.
His wife is Dolly Schindler.
Red was superintendent of the Chehalis Water Department for 30 years. Upon retirement, he ran Red’s Junk, located on Ribelin Road, until 1991.
He attends the Centralia Bethel Church, and enjoys bowling, fishing, boating, camping and cribbage.
Schindler’s children are Nancy Kaiser, Centralia; Patann Cesar, Wenatchee; Ted Schindler, Chehalis; Cindy Becker, Chehalis; and Judy McCann, Chehalis.
