Twila Bailey
Twila Bailey, Chehalis, will be celebrating her 90th birthday noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Jeremy’s Farm to Table restaurant, Chehalis.
Bailey was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Ryderwood. She attended Ryderwood High School and Pacific University. Her husband, William J. Bailey, died in 2007.
She was a homemaker, wife and mother of six children. She is a gifted piano player, cook and gardener, and lover of animals. She was organist at St. Joseph Catholic Church for 40 years. Her favorite song is “My Funny Valentine.”
Her children are Michael Bailey, Tenino; Susan Bailey, Seattle; Cecelia Shugart, Portland; Bill Bailey, Kalispell, Montana; Chris Bailey, Kelso; and Mary Doerr, Wenatchee. She has 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
