Members and friends of the Lewis County Pomona Grange gathered at the Southwest Washington Fair in August to make passage quilts for the Veterans Hospital in Vancouver, Wash. The quilts are used to cover the body of a deceased veteran as it passes from the hospital to the waiting carriage.
