Timothy and Rose (Harmia) Mitcham, Lynnwood, will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary Monday, Aug. 28, at their home.

They were married on Aug. 28, 1987, in Lynnwood.

Rose lived her young adult years in the area of Centralia and Chehalis, and still has family living in the area.



Timothy grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas. He is the son of James and Betty Mitcham. Timothy was the only grandson of his maternal grandparents, Thomas B.“Tom” and Coral (King) Griffin. His paternal grandparents, Lorenzo Dow and Edna (Cooper) Mitcham, lived in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Rose was the daughter of Vincent Charles Harmia, of Grays Harbor, and Shirley Brownell, of Lewis County. Rose’s maternal grandparents were Russell and Stella Bessie Messenger, of Elma. Rose’s paternal grandparents were Ljudevit and Christine Haramia, of Aberdeen.

After being away for awhile, the couple decided to move back to Washington state. Tim has now been working for the state of Washington for 17 years.

Rose is fulfilling her own dreams and became a professional genealogist. She currently teaches genealogy in the greater Seattle area.
