Anniversaries: Mike & Marilyn Keller

Mike and Marilyn Keller, Boistfort, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday at their property on Keller Creek, the family homestead of 1888.  

Born and raised in the Boistfort Valley and graduating from Boistfort High School, they have lived in the valley participating in community activities their entire lives.  

Mike and Marilyn were volunteers with Boistfort Fire Department, Mike for 36 years with several as assistant chief and Marilyn 32 years as an EMT.  

Mike has been an active member of Boistfort Lions for 36 years. Marilyn is an active member and worship leader at Boistfort Community Church. Mike was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic and welder in the logging industry, mostly on Skagit equipment. Marilyn served as a teacher’s aide and school cook.  



Both are retired and enjoy forest management of their family timber property with Kubota tractors. Hobbies include woodworking, gardening, family and community gatherings.  

Children include four sons, Marvin (Ramona), Adna; Ken (Yvonne), Doty; Rob, Tukwila; and Dennis (Dana), Napavine. They have seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
