TOLEDO — Adna had three pitchers combine to allow one hit to help the Pirates earn a 13-0 win over Toledo in a Central 2B League softball game here on Wednesday.

Haley Rainey started in the circle for the Pirates, allowing one hit with three strikeouts. Karlee VonMoos pitched the third and fourth innings and allowed one walk with one strikeout. Skye Snow pitched the fifth and struck out one batter.

At the plate, Snow was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a run and a RBI. Kaylee Ashley was 2-for-4 with a RBI and Ruby Bower was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI. Kooper Mahoney added a double and Emily Sliva had a hit, a run and two RBI.

Haleigh Holmes tallied the only hit for Toledo.

“Overall, I thought they played OK,” Toledo coach Ashlee Gieseke said. “Our errors killed us. We were all happy we held them for the first few inning. They’re a great team, nothing we could expect with that.”

Adna scored two runs in the second inning, four runs in the third and fifth innings and three runs in the fourth inning to lock up the win.

Gieseke noted the performance of Abbie Marcil behind the plate, throwing out a runner trying to steal and not allowing one passed ball.

Adna (18-1, 14-0) has locked up the Central 2B League softball crown and will tune up for districts on Friday, hosting Montesano in a non-league game. Toledo ends the season 11-9 overall and 8-6 in league games. The Indians are the No. 6 seed out of the C2BL and will face Raymond on Monday in a loser out game at Borst Park in Centralia.
