Wednesday's Girls Golf: Rochester Rolls Tigers

Rochester dropped Centralia by a score of 35-12 here on Wednesday on their shared home course during the final regular season match of their 2A Evergreen Conference girls golf campaigns.

The Warriors were paced by Allison Beagley and her score of 11. Emma Green added nine points for Rochester while Alex Anderson scored seven points. Elizabeth Miller added five points and Shelby Baird tallied three points.

Tessa Smith was the standard bearer for Centralia with a score of six. Montana Knapstead added three points for the Tigers, while Mazzi Nowicki scored two points and Jordan Bradtler chipped in a solitary score.

Rochester and Centralia will compete in the District 4 2A Girls Golf Tournament on May 16 & 17 at Orchard Hills Golf & Country Club in Washougal.

Bearcats Claw Past Bobcats



ABERDEEN — W.F. West ended the regular season on a high note as the Lady Bearcats won 90-70 in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Highlands Golf Course here on Wednesday.

W.F. West’s Kate Balmelli finished in second place with 22 points. Elizabeth Twining and Abbey Link each scored 20 points to tie for third place.

Abbey Link recorded 16 points, Rose Evans added 12 points and Makenna Klovdahl rounded out the Bearcats with 10 points.

Aberdeen’s Ryder Heikkila earned medalist honors with 25 points.
