ELMA — W.F. West was able to remain undefeated with a 1,920-1,422 win against Montesano in an Evergreen 1A/2A League girls bowling match here on Wednesday.

The Bearcats were led by Brianna Powe with an average of 183 and a match-high score of 191. Piper Chalmers averaged 180 and Kelsey Stritmatter averaged 164. Cami Aldrich averaged a 153 to round out the Bearcats.

Assistant coach Rich Bunker was proud of the girls after making adjustments to dry lane conditions at the bowling alley.

W.F. West (6-0) will be back in action on Monday, hosting Aberdeen in a league match at Fairway Lanes in Centralia.
