Tuesday's Girls Golf: Rochester Falls to Black Hills

Rochester’s Allison Beagley recorded 12 points, but Black Hills had a quality day in tough conditions to win 81-16 in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Riverside Golf Course on Tuesday.

Emma Green scored three points and Alex Anderson added one point for the Warriors. Rochester’s Elizabeth Miller, Shelby Baird and Kyra Darnell didn’t record a point.

Black Hills’ McKenna Canty recorded 26 points to earn medalist honors. Elle Hirotaka added 22 points for second place and Jacelynn Tyner scored 15 points.

Rochester is back on the course on Thursday, hosting Tumwater at Riverside Golf Course.

Tumwater Tops W.F. West



W.F. West and Tumwater faced wet conditions at Newaukum Valley Golf Course, with the Thunderbirds earning a 59-45 win in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match on Tuesday.

Tumwater’s Julia Westberg earned medalist honors with 15 points. W.F. West’s Abbey Link, along with Tumwater’s Mykenzee Gleizes and Riley Swick, each scored 12 points to tie for second.

Elizabeth Twinning recorded 11 points and Haley Simmons added 10 points for the Lady Bearcats. Rose Evans and Emma Finley each added six points and Makenna Kovdahl rounded out W.F. West with two points.

W.F. West is back on the course on Wednesday, facing Centralia at Riverside in a league match.
