Tuesday's Cross Country: Mossyrock’s Lovan Wins Fast and Flat

RANDLE — Mossyrock’s Sarah Lovan was able to win in the 14-team Fast and Flat cross country meet here on Tuesday.

Lovan completed the race in 20:18.32.

Adna won the team competition, with Lauryn Apperson being the highest finisher for the Pirates in fifth place with a time of 21:57.81.

Morton-White Pass’ Kaylen Collette (22:49.61) finished in sixth place, Toledo’s Greenlee Clark (22:59.59) earned eighth place and Onalaska’s Renate Prazak (23:10.93) rounded out the local finishers in the top 10 in ninth place.



MWP’s Elexcious Hampton (24:05) and Alissa Hughes (24:16) placed 13th and 14th respectively and teammate Jaiden Linder (24:50) finished in 16th place.

Toledo’s Ashley White (25:55) took 17th, Onalaska’s Samantha Conner (25:58) earned 18th and Adna’s Eden Davis (25:59) finished in 19th place.

Kayla Bornstien (28:57) was the highest finisher for Napavine in 28th place.

MWP and Toledo are back in action on Tuesday at a Central 2B League meet in Toledo. Adna competes next on Saturday at the Three Course Challenge in Warrenton, Ore., and Mossyrock, Napavine and Onalaska race next at the Rainier Invitational on Thursday.
