Tuesday's 2B Track & Field: Adna Sweeps Team Titles at C2BL Track Meet

ADNA — Adna won the boys and girls team titles at a Central 2B League track meet here on Tuesday.

The Adna girls won with 118 points. Life Christian finished second and Morton-White Pass came in third with 103 points.

Lauryn Apperson won the 1600 meters (6:02.15) and placed second in the 800 (2:44.30). Tori Lange won the 100 hurdles (17.90) and the 300 hurdles (52.84).

The 4x100 relay team (Cierra Swenson, Maddie Kleemeyer, Jordyn Swenson, Hannah Bilodeau) won with a time of 55.90 seconds. The 4x400 relay team (Samee Jo Moon, Rachel Burke, Jordyn Swenson, Apperson) also won, completing the race in 4:46.41.

Morgan Trotter won the long jump (13-00), placed second in the javelin (87-10) and third in the discus (74-10).

Jordyn Swenson finished third in the 400 (1:11.08) and Samee Jo Moon earned third in the 800 (2:48.24).

Morton-White Pass’ Kaylen Collette won the 3200 (15:17.88) and took second in the 1600 (6:24.27). Abigail Hirte-Uhlorn won the shot put (28-11). Emily Elswick won the discus (94-07) and placed second in the shot put (28-05). Kylie Heimbigner won the javelin (90-00).

Alissa Hughes took second in the 3200 (17:12.91) and Jacie Dunlap finished second in the 300 (53.69) and third in the 100 hurdles (20.34).

Winlock’s Elizabeth Gabbert earned second in the long jump (12-11.75) and Maggie Howsden finished in third (12-10). Sable Pirtle earned third in the 3200 (17:31.79) and Azhia Camps placed third in the javelin (78-03).



Adna’s boys ran away with the team title with 133 points. North Beach finished second with 115.5 points and Morton-White Pass was a close third with 113.5 points.

Brady Collins won the 100 (11.75) and finished second in the 400 (54.56). Luke Wellander won the 110 hurdles (15.64) and the 300 hurdles (42.82). Braden Thomas won the long jump (18-06) and finished third in the 100 (11.99) for the Pirates.

Adna’s 4x400 relay team (Ashton Dowell, Collins, Aisan Ryan, Austen Apperson) won with a time of 3:46.28.

Austen Apperson finished second in the 200 (23.85) and Aaron Slape took second in the 3200 (11:45.47). Lucas Ashley earned second in the javelin (125-09) and Zander Blankenship finished third in the high jump (5-06).

Morton-White Pass’ Tristen Storey won the 200 (23.36) and finished second in the 100 (11.78). Takoda Seymer won the 1600 (5:16.68) and the 3200 (11:26.13).

MWP’s 4x100 relay team (Manuel Martinez, Jesse Urban, Marcos Garcia, Storey) won with a time of 45.74 seconds.

James Boyet finished second in the 1600 (5:31.82) and third in the 3200 (12:09.20). Levi Clemens took second in the 300 hurdles (42.90) and Jacob McLynee earned second in the discus (99-10).

Winlock’s Bryce Cline won the high jump (5-08). Logan Hall finished third in the javelin (125-00) and Noah Patching placed third in the 400 (54.76).

Adna is back on the track on Saturday at the Shoreline Invitational while Morton-White Pass travels to Interlake to participate in the 10th Annual BCS Invite on Saturday. Winlock competes next at a C2BL meet in Morton on Tuesday.
