Tuesday's 2B Baseball: Toledo Defeats Morton-White Pass

TOLEDO — Dakota Robins and Dylan Hoiseck combined to allow one hit on the mound for the Indians, helping Toledo earn a 13-0 win over Morton-White Pass in a Central 2B League baseball game here on Tuesday.

Robins pitched four innings, allowing one hit while striking out seven batters. Hoiseck came on in the fifth and closed the game out.

Robins was also 2 for 3 at the plate with a double, three RBI’s and a run. Jackson Kuzminsky was 2 for 2 with two walks and four runs and Gannon Madill was 1 for 3 with a double and two runs for Toledo.

Kaleb Rashoff got the start for MWP, and allowed five runs on two hits in one inning of work for the loss.

Toledo scored five runs in the first inning for an early 5-0 lead. The Indians added one run in the second, four runs in the third and three runs in the fourth to cap the game after five innings.

Toledo (2-2, 2-2) travels to face Onalaska on Thursday in a C2BL contest while MWP hosts Mossyrock today in a league game.

Toutle Lake Shuts Out Adna

TOUTLE — Zach Vetter pitched a complete game two-hitter for Toutle Lake, leading the Ducks to a 3-0 win over Adna in a Central 2B League baseball game here on Tuesday.



Vetter threw 71 pitches and struck out three while walking zero batters.

“We faced a very good pitcher, we hit some balls hard but right at guys,” Adna coach Jon Rooklidge said. “They’re going to win when he’s up there. He had 15 ground balls, give him credit. Hopefully, this makes us better.”

Wes Wilson pitched all six innings for the Pirates, allowing one earned run along with six hits and striking out five in the loss.

Spencer Burdick recorded a double, and Sawyer Burdick recorded the other hit for Adna.

Toutle Lake went up 2-0 after the first inning, and added another run in the fourth inning to cap the victory.

Adna (3-2, 3-2) hosts Wahkiakum on Thursday in a C2BL contest.

Note: Napavine defeated Winlock 13-3 in a C2BL game in Winlock on Tuesday.
