LACEY — Tenino’s Sam Hill earned third place in the Silver 5K race at the Bill Kehoe South Sound Invite cross country meet at St. Martin’s University here on Saturday.

Hill completed the race in 17 minutes, 21 seconds. Teammate Drew Hart earned 13th place 18:01. Braxton Williams (18:56) earned 55th and Clayton Oldfield (19:47) finished 108th. Onalaska’s Lethon Fitch (19:42) took 102nd and Jacob Russon (19:43) finished right behind him in 103rd place.

Adna’s Thaikhan Tripp (20:24) finished 138th.

In the boys’ Gold 5K race, Centralia’s Cameron Moore (17:33) finished 78th and Devin Harrison (18:37) took 149th. Ben Corwin (18:56) placed 159th and Elias Stehr (19:02) earned 162nd place.

In the girls’ Silver 5K race, Tenino’s Katie Snyder (22:42) finished 33rd and Onalaska’s Jennifer Reiman (22:56) placed 40th. Adna’s Faith Wellander (23:56) finished 68th, Haileigh Brooks (24:43) earned 95th and Kaylin Todd (24:47) finished 97th.

Onalaska will head to Adna on Tuesday for a Central 2B League cross country meet. Tenino is back in action on Oct. 24 in the 1A Evergreen League Championship race. Centralia will travel to Tumwater on Wednesday for an EvCo race.

Tenino’s Snyder Places Fourth at Evergreen League Meet

TENINO — Tenino’s Katie Snyder was able to earn fourth place in a 1A Evergreen League cross country meet here on Thursday.

Snyder finished the race in 23 minutes, 17 seconds. Claire Scibelli placed 15th in 26:57 and Alexandra Doig placed 16th in 27:45.

Forks’ Madelyn Archibald won the race in 21:47.

Toledo’s Marty Wins Timberline & River Ridge 5K

LACEY — Nicholas Marty completed five kilometers in under 17 minutes to earn the win at the Timberline & River Ridge 5K cross country race here last Tuesday.

Marty completed the race in 16 minutes, 56 seconds. Teammate Tyler Harris placed 22nd in 18:39. Rainier’s Dylan Davis (18:39) earned 23rd place.

Ryan Doidge (19:22) finished 34th and Jayson Ducey (19:29) earned 35th for the Mountaineers. Tyler Barlass (19:42) took 37th and Benjamin Johnson (19:49) placed 38th for Rainier and Toledo’s Aiden Umbriaco (20:02) earned 40th place.

In the girls race, Rainier’s Selena Niemi won the race in 20 minutes, 49 seconds and teammate Sophie Beadle (21:06) finished in second. Clara Wagner (23:15) earned fifth and Hazel Busic (23:23) finished sixth and Lauren Jones (23:49) was also in the Top 10 for Rainier in ninth place.

Toledo’s Greenlee Clark (24:22) finished 12th and Rainier’s Lorianne Price (24:27) finished 13th. Toledo’s Heather Fenison (26:26) earned 39th place.

Toledo is back in action on Tuesday at a Central 2B League meet in Adna. Rainier travels to Mossyrock on Tuesday for a league meet.
