TENINO — Tenino swept the doubles round and got a win in the top singles match to beat Steilacoom, 3-2, in nonleague girls tennis action here Friday.
Rhian Mathis beat Steilacoom’s Lilly Rodriguez, 6-0, 6-1, in the No. 1 singles contest. In doubles action, Ally Vestal and Kaylee Schow won the No. 1 match, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, and Xmena Ontiveros and Krysta Lira won the No. 2 contest, 6-2, 6-0.
Tenino (1-0) plays at Eatonville on Monday.
