OLYMPIA — The I-5 Jeep Renegades cruised to a 7-2 win over Glacier Peaks of Montana at the Lakefair Tournament at Capital High School in Olympia, in AA Legion action here Thursday.

Camden Bull pitched the first five innings for the Renegades, allowing four hits while tossing seven strikeouts. Bull also had three hits in four at-bats.

“Camden did really well as far as staying on track, throwing strikes and keeping his pitch count low,” Renegades coach Cody Ray said. “And his defense backed him up.”

Leandre Gaines went 2 for 3 with a home run for the Renegades. Other big hitters for Chehalis include Max Miller, who was 3 for 3, and Bryce Dobyns and Austin Emery, who both went 2 for 4.

The Renegades trailed 1-0 after the first inning, but scored four runs in the third to take the lead. Chehalis added one run in the fourth and two in the sixth.

The Renegades continue the wood bat tournament with a game tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
