2B Volleyball: Olson Named C2BL MVP

Napavine’s Mollie Olson was voted the Central 2B League’s Most Valuable Player, after leading the Tigers to an undefeated league season.

Olson, a sophomore middle hitter, racked up 366 kills over the course of the season, with a .283 hitting percentage and a .437 kill percentage. She served 91.9 percent, averaged 8.3 digs per match and tallied 45 blocks.

Tiger coach Monica Dailey was voted the league’s Coach of the Year.



Mossyrock setter Ava Nelson and libero Jamie Carlson were both first-team selections, along with Onalaska outside hitter Ronnie Kinsman and setter Nicolle Duryea. Wahkiakum libero Savannah Burdick and Toutle Lake trio Britzy Hockett (outside hitter), Mikayla Deffenbaugh (middle hitter) and Shelby Risner (setter) rounded out the first team.

Adna’s Kendall Camoza and Shanay Dotson, and Napavine’s Jordin Pruett and Melissa Lee, were both second-team picks.
