Prep Softball: Warriors Thrive in Team Effort Win over Panthers

ROCHESTER — Each hitter on the Warrior lineup recorded a hit and the offense was clicking as Rochester defeated Washougal 12-3 in nonleague softball play here on Wednesday.

Amidst the 14 hits, Hunter Hahn went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a double while Joni Lancaster had a 2 for 5 outing from the plate, accompanied by 2 RBIs.

"Everybody was moving and talking," Rochester coach Jared Lancaster said. "When you have everybody contributing, it just makes for a better ballgame. The girls were really clicking today."

Senior ace Jessica Glacken was cited for her performance in the circle.

"She's having a great senior season thus far," Lancaster said. "And with a good defense behind her, it's all the better. Everybody was doing their job. It was a good day."

The Warriors (3-1 league, 5-1 overall) will host Forks in a twinbill this afternoon.
