CC Men: Trailblazers Fall at Grays Harbor

    ABERDEEN — Centralia closed the gap a bit in the second half, but couldn’t overcome a big night from Grays Harbor’s Kevin Stanley in a 74-73 NWAACC West Division men’s basketball loss here Saturday.

    Stanley scored 23 points and hauled in 12 rebounds for the Chokers, who held a 3-point halftime advantage.

    Centralia’s bench scored 31 points, and four Blazers hit double figures in the win. Nate Booth and Damien Fisher each scored 12, while Matt Guevara added 11 and Jeremiah Ridgeway notched 10. Guevara added five assists and seven rebounds for Centralia.

    The Blazers (8-15, 5-10 league) host Highline for Sophomore Night on Wednesday in their final game of the season.
