2B Softball: Toutle's Woodley Voted C2BL MVP

Toutle Lake’s Sam Woodley was tabbed the Most Valuable Player in the annual Central 2B League All-League fastpitch voting, which was released Tuesday morning.

The league’s coaches voted on the annual honors at the conclusion of the regular season.

Woodley, a catcher, led the Ducks to a 17-1 record in C2BL play and the league title, and teammates Britzy Hockett and Bailey Hockett were both first-team picks.



Adna outfielder Cheyenne Gilbertson, shortstop Shanay Dotson and pitcher Sam Rolfe were all first-team picks. The trio helped Adna to a 16-2 league record (second place), which was followed up by District 4 and State 2B championships.

Napavine infielder Erika Potter, Onalaska catcher Nicolle Duryea, Morton-White Pass pitcher Christine Robbins and Pe Ell-Willapa Valley pitcher Dakota Brooks were all first-team selections.

Napavine coach Kadie Muller and Pe Ell-Willapa Valley coach Ken Olson were voted co-Coaches of the Year.
