TUMWATER — The Warriors picked up five pins and a 37-28 win over Black Hills here Wednesday in Evergreen 2A Conference wrestling action.

Grayson Patterson won in a third-round pin at 126 pounds, Dailin Schlecht got a first-round pin at 132, Riley Cohron got a 59-second pin at 152, Ian Lupardus won by pin in 20 seconds at 160, and Kalob Spann got a third-round pin at 170 for the Warriors.

Jaden Martenson picked up a major decision win, 9-1, at 138, and Kyle Lupardus got a 4-0 decision victory at 145.

“They wrestled pretty well. We pretty much bumped everyone up in weight,” Rochester coach Jason Dick said. “Everyone was wrestling out of weight, not because they’re fat but because we’re missing some guys. They wrested tough.”

The Warriors (1-1 league) host Centralia on Friday.
