W.F. West’s Kate Balmelli earned medalist honors with 18 points to help the Bearcats to a 67-22 win in an Evergreen 2A Conference girls golf match at Riverside Golf Course on Wednesday. Haley Simmons placed second with 15 points and Rose Evans added 14 points to finish in third for the Bearcats.
Abbey Link chipped in 11 points, Elizabeth Twinning added nine points and Emma Finley rounded out W.F. West with six points.
Centralia’s Mazzi Nowicki led the Tigers with eight points. Maddie Watson scored seven points, Montana Knapstad recorded five points and Tessa Smith added two points.
W.F. West hosts Aberdeen on Monday at Newaukum Valley while Centralia travels to Grays Harbor Country Club on Friday to face Aberdeen in an EvCo match.
