2A Boys Golf: Bearcats Beat Black Hills to Wrap Regular Season

TUMWATER — Will Alexander returned to the figurative medalist podium and W.F. West's boys golf team finished out the regular season with a 233-236 win over Black Hills here Wednesday at Tumwater Valley Golf Course.

Alexander, who was the team's regular medalist early in the season, shot a 39, despite a triple-bogey on one hole.

Bryce Dobyns fired a 47 for the Bearcats. Hayden Dobyns, Jaron Howell and Jacob Cleary each clocked in at 49.



Ryan Ziebart led Black Hills with a 42.

The Bearcats finished the regular season with a 4-2 league record (7-4 overall). W.F. West will play in the Evergreen 2A Conference Tournament on Thursday, back at Tumwater Valley Golf Course.

Note: W.F. West's JV won, 255-268. Eugene Pak shot a 46 to lead the way, despite recording a 10 on an early hole.
