ABERDEEN — The Bobcats showed off their firepower in a 78-42 Evergreen 2A/1A League victory over Rochester here on Wednesday night. Four different players scored in double-digits for Aberdeen, while the Warriors found themselves down 45-17 at halftime.

“They started making everything and when we had an open shot it wouldn’t find the bottom of the net,” Rochester coach Mark Goldrick said. “It kind of got out of hand after that.”

Rochester led 5-0 to begin the game, but trailed 21-9 by the end of the first quarter.

Ron Valley, Andrew Filmore and Stephen Robinson had 8 points each for the Warriors.

Rochester (3-14, 3-8 league) hosts rival Tenino on Friday.
