The following is a list of resources to assist you after this year's devastating flood.

Flood Disaster Outreach Services for Lewis County: 1-800-850-8775. Free resource information for residents and business owners, support for survivors, free crisis counseling referrals. Counselors are available for appointments in the office, by phone or at-home visits.

Benefit Concert and Auctions

Olympia Flood Aid, Two-Night Benefit Concert and Auction, 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday Feb. 17. Olympia Eagles Ballroom, E. 4th and Plum, Olympia. All donations and profits go to the Olympia Food Co-op’s Flood Relief Fund. Call 352-5333 for information.

Resources Available

- Salvation Army Flood Recovery Assistance, Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to noon, 1 to 4 p.m. Friday 10 a.m. to noon. Call 736-4339.

- Flood debris drop boxes will be available Friday through Sunday at Adna High School and fire stations in Dryad and Curtis. Contact Lewis County Solid Waste for information.

- Flood Victim Support Group, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Cooks Hill Community Church, Centralia. Session five of six. Call 736-6133.

- Senior Citizen Bible Study, Wednesdays, 10 a.m., Calvary Assembly of God Church, 302 Main St., Centralia. Call Jeanette Curtis at 736-6769.

- Temporary Housing Permits, Lewis County Department of Community Development Permit Center, 2025 N.E. Kresky Ave, through Feb. 29. Call 740-1146 for information.

- Twin Cities Senior Center, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2190 Jackson Highway, Chehalis. Call 345-1299 for information. Call 748-0161 for transportation.

- Coffee, Comfort and Hope Support Group, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Friday, St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2190 Jackson Highway, Chehalis. Coffee, baked goods and people to talk with informally. Call 748-6259 or 748-4332.

- Temporary shower facilities are available from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at the Dryad Command Center, 177 Chandler Road. Hygiene items are also available. Shower facilities in Boistfort are at the Baw Faw Grange, 983 Boistfort Road, and will be open from 7 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 10 p.m. weekdays.

- Twin Cities Printing, 507 Harrison Ave., Centralia, free printing and faxing for flood victims. Call 807-1200.

Livestock Loss and Resources

- There is a critical shortage of hay. Those who have hay to donate are asked to contact Patty Kaija at 508-0151.

- Livestock Compensation Program, Livestock Indemnity Program and Crop Disaster Program, contact the Farm Service Agency in Lewis County at 748-0084, or visit the Web site at www.fsa.usda.gov.

- While supplies last, the Feed Bin, 7505-A 183rd Ave. S.W., Rochester. Some horse tack is also available. Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Call 273-7440.

- Monetary donations for hay to be delivered to Lewis County and other flood victims in need: Jim and Joy Townsend -- www.thetowns-end.com or call 269-2276.

- Donations of animal food, supplies and toys can be made at the Lewis County Animal Shelter, 560 Centralia-Alpha Road, Chehalis. Call 740-1290.

- Chehalis Livestock Market: 748-3191.

Donations

- Donations of bottled water are needed to help with shortages in Doty, Adna and Boistfort. Donations may be dropped off at the United Way of Lewis County warehouse at State and Center Streets, Chehalis.

- Donations of cash, checks and gift cards may be made to United Way of Lewis County, 450 N.W. Pacific Ave., Chehalis, WA 98532. Please mark “Flood Relief” on envelope. All donations will go directly to flood relief throughout the county.

- Donations of cash, checks and gift cards for Lewis County’s Hispanic flood victims may be sent to: Washington Hispanic Connections, Flood Fund, 1169 S. Market St., Chehalis, WA 98532. Ask for Martha Wright at 748-8619 or 520-5251 for more information.

Volunteers Needed

- Volunteers who would like to help with flood recovery activity can choose how and where to help by registering online at www.volunteer.ws under “Volunteer Now.” All disaster-related opportunities are posted in the yellow banner “help now” section. Volunteers without internet access may call the Volunteer Center at 748-2500 to find out more.

- Flood Relief Distribution Center, 1-7 p.m. every Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. every Saturday, Harrison Square Presbyterian Church. Call 807-2141.
