Centralia Police Department

Warrant Service, Home Agency

• At 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of W. Maple Street and arrested Ramiro E. Adams, 32, of Chehalis on a Centralia Municipal Court warrant. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail.

• At 4:50 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 100 block of W. Maple Street. Kimberly A. Parkison, 30, of Olympia was arrested on a Centralia Municipal Court warrant and booked into the Lewis County Jail.

• At 5:44 p.m. on Sunday, Daniel Ruiz II, 23, of Spanaway, was arrested in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue on a warrant and released with a summons. 

Traffic Violation, Criminal

• At 12:08 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1300 block of W. Reynolds Avenue. Andrew D. Thompson, 35, of Oakville, was cited and released for failing to transfer vehicle title within 45 days.

Two-Vehicle Accident with Minor Damage  

• At 2:05 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident with minor damage at a location at the intersection of S. Pearl and W. Cherry. 

Groceries and Beer Stolen

• At 3:51 p.m. on Saturday, there was a reported theft of groceries and beer from a business in the 600 block of N. Tower. This case is under investigation.

Fourth-Degree Assault

• At 4:34 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue. Leticia Yanez, 24, of Napavine was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree assault after shoving her boyfriend during an argument.

• At 6:07 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 600 block of S. Washington Avenue. Eric R. Davidson, 30, of Centralia was arrested for fourth-degree assault after shoving his girlfriend during an argument. He was booked into the Lewis County Jail.

• At 7:03 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 500 block of S. Diamond Street. Misty A. Rains, 45, of Centralia, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault. Thomas J. Park, 33, of Centralia was issued a summons for Malicious Mischief 3rd DV.

• At 9:44 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of N. Tower Avenue. Shawn W. Poage, 52, of Centralia, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.

Hit and Run 

• At 5:32 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report of a hit and run accident in the 100 block of S Tower Avenue. There was minor damage to the victim’s unoccupied vehicle. The suspect vehicle was captured on video surveillance. No arrests were made and this case is under investigation.

Warrant Service, Outside Agency 

• At 9:13 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue. Joshua T. Irons, 25, of Tacoma was arrested on a DOC escape community custody warrant and booked into the Lewis County Jail.

• At 12:06 a.m. on Monday, police responded to the 500 block of W. Main. Ryan E. Morehouse, 34, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on a Department Of Corrections warrant.

Vehicle Hit Pedestrian, Minor Injuries to Pedestrian, No Damage to Vehicle

• At 10:08 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 500 block of Harrison Avenue to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. There was minor injury to the pedestrian, but no reportable damage to the vehicle. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was not at fault and no arrests were made.

Centralia Man Drove on Suspended License

• At 2:36 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 1300 block of Belmont Avenue. Samuel A. Isguerra, 19, of Centralia was cited and released for driving on a suspended license. 

Vehicle Prowl  

• At 12:09 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of a vehicle prowl in the 2800 block of Russell Road. The prowl reportedly occurred overnight and a handgun and three packs of cigarettes were stolen. No arrests were made.

Bicycle Stolen

• At 3:02 p.m. on Sunday, a third-degree theft was reported in the 200 block of S. Pearl Street. A white 2014 Colt Control bicycle was reported stolen while it was parked outside of a business.

Criminal Traffic Violation 

• At 6:17 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 1200 block of N. Pearl Street. Dwight L. Howard, 52 of Chehalis, was arrested for driving on a suspended license in the 3rd degree and released with a court date.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious Person Reported

• At 1:20 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of NE Washington Avenue. A man was reportedly wearing a red shirt and knocking on a door. 

Malicious Mischief Reported

• At 10:53 a.m. on Saturday, malicious mischief was reported in the 400 block of SW Parkland Drive. No arrests were made.

Counterfeiting Reported

• At 12:24 p.m. on Saturday, counterfeiting was reported in the 1600 block of NW Louisiana Avenue. No arrests were made. This is an active case.

Child Found Wandering

• At 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of an approximately 2-year-old child found wandering somewhere near the intersection of 8th and William. The child was reportedly only wearing a diaper and a t-shirt with no shoes. The child was unattended for approximately five to ten minutes before it was reported.

Third-degree Theft Reported

• At 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, third-degree theft was reported in the 1600 block of NW Louisiana Avenue. No arrests were made and this case is active.

Violation of Protection/Restraining Order Reported

• At 8:36 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a violation of a protection/restraining order in the 200 block of W. Main Street. No arrests were made and this case is active.

Woman Reports Harassment 

• At 3:44 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report in the 200 block of SW James Street. A woman reported that she was in a yard with written permission, but neighbors came into the yard, harassed her, threw away her cat food, called her names and took pictures. No arrests were reported.

Suspicious Person Reported

• At 9:35 p.m. on Sunday, police received a report that a male in the 1000 block of NW State Avenue was going from business to business and pulling on doors.

LEWIS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Transient Booked on First-Degree Robbery

• At 7:40 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to a first-degree robbery in the 100 block of US Highway 12 in Napavine. Adam R. Brown, a 32-year-old male transient, stole $110 worth of items. When the victim pulled up to an intersection at Williams Road and Highway 12 in a car, Brown said he wanted a ride. The victim believed Brown may have a weapon and complied. Brown indicated while holding a pen that he could stab the victim in the throat. Eventually the victim pulled into a business in the 100 block of US Highway 12 and left the vehicle to call for help. The suspect fled with the car. The Centralia Police Department and Washington Patrol located the suspect in a business in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia. Brown was taken into custody and booked into Lewis County Jail.

Second-Degree Assault in Salkum

• At 9:43 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a second-degree assault in the 1900 block of Spencer Road in Salkum for a report of a physical dispute. Chad W Mathers, a 44-year-old male from of Kelso, allegedly assaulted a 39-year-old female from Vancouver Washington. According to reports, Mathers choked the suspect until she couldn’t breath and punched the victim two or three times in the head. The suspect could not be located and is being referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office.

Woman Booked for Possession, Identity Theft

• At 11:11 p.m. on Sunday, Naly Tong, a 26-year-old female from Onalaska, was booked in the Lewis County Jail for violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, identity theft and an arrest warrant. Deputies responded to the 100 block of US Highway 12 after receiving a report that Tong was sitting in her pickup truck, had a warrant for her arrest and was possibly in possession of controlled substances. Tong initially provided a different name and date of birth, which returned one of her family members. 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

• As of July 1, the Lewis County Jail had a total population of 239 inmates, with 205 in general population, 32 in Work Ethic and Restitution Center and two on work release. Of general population inmates, 162 were men and 43 were women. Of WERC inmates, 30 were men and 2 were women. A total of 37 inmates were booked through contracts with agencies outside Lewis County.
