Sirens: Bomb Threat Debunked, Burglary, Ht and Run, DUI, Vehicle Prowl, Creepy Behavior on the Bus

Bomb Threat Debunked

• A handwritten message announcing a bomb threat in pencil on a bathroom wall at Centralia Middle School reportedly put police on high alert at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday as they interviewed potential suspects based on security camera footage from a hallway, the threat was determined to be a prank and no suspect could be identified.

Burglary

• Nallely Garcia Gutierrez, 22, of Chehalis, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of South Gold Street for allegedly entering an apartment and stealing a laptop computer, a video game console and some clothing.

Hit and Run

• Kristina Andueza, 22, of Centralia, was arrested for hit-and-run at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Russell Road for allegedly hitting an electric gate at an apartment complex.

DUI

• Rikkey Outumuro, 29, of Centralia, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Thursday in the intersection of North Washington Avenue and West 1st Street for allegedly driving while under the influence.

Vehicle Prowl

• A wallet and camera were reportedly stolen from an unlocked car in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue, as reported at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Creepy Behavior on the Bus

• A male reportedly touched himself inappropriately while riding a Twin Transit bus next to a female at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of West Reynolds Avenue; the suspect is described as man in his early 20s, with light brown skin, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build, black hair, and wearing a grey zip-up hoody, blue shorts and tennis shoes.

Stolen Jetta

• A green 1998 Volkswagen Jetta was reported stolen at 8:26 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Lincoln Street.

Chehalis Police Department

Illegal Drug Possession

• Christopher Tortorici, 32, of Winlock, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Thursday on Southwest McFadden Avenue for allegedly possessing hydrocodone.  

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Flea Market Thievery

• A 31-year-old male listed as a transient of Packwood and Tacoma is a suspect in a used-DVD heist at the Packwood Flea Market on Wednesday; reportedly 50 movies were stolen. The loss is worth $250.

Lewis County Jail

• Inmate population in the main facility as of early this morning: 161 inmates; 125 are men and 36 are women. Of the total facility, none are work-release inmates. Seventy-two are contract bed inmates from outside agencies. None are on electronic home monitoring and none are day reporting. In the past 24 hours, as of early this morning, eight people were booked into the jail and 25 were released.
