In the story titled “PUD Board to Vote on 3.8 Percent Rate Increase Oct. 20” published in Thursday’s edition of The Chronicle, the energy charge rate increase was reported incorrectly. PUD staff proposed a 3.4 percent increase to the energy consumption charge for all residential accounts. The adopted 2021-22 budget deficit was also misstated. The deficit is $2 million.
