Sirens: Organized Retail Theft; Train Ride Goes Bad for Transients; Man Uses Ax to Get Beer

Centralia Police Department

Driving Under Influence  

• Salvodor Robles-Perez, 37, Centralia, was arrested and booked for allegedly driving under the influence on the 600 block of North Pearl Street at 5:29 p.m. Sunday. 

Protection Order Violation

• Timothy E. Niles, 27, Tenino, was accused violating a protection order at 8:12 a.m. Saturday on the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue.

 Obstructing Public Servant

• Alisha L. Whitehill, 22, Tenino, was cited and released for allegedly obstructing and providing false information to a public servant at East Carson Street and North Pearl Street at 8:24 p.m. Saturday. 

Assault

• Alicia D. Sullivan, 30, Centralia was arrested and booked for alleged fourth-degree assault on the 1300 block of Logan Street at 12:17 a.m. Monday.  

•  Levi S. Ramirez, 25, Centralia, was arrested and booked for the alleged assault of his ex-girlfriend, who had a protection order against him, at 3:42 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of Russell Road. 

• Ryan D. Cheesman, 28, La Mesa, Calif., was arrested and booked for allegedly assaulting his father during a dispute at 6:55 p.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Noel Avenue. 

• Phillip J. Reimer, 33, Centralia, was arrested and booked for allegedly assaulting his wife during a dispute on the 300 block of Genge Street at 12:48 a.m. Sunday. 

• Raul G. Rangel-Arias, 42, Rochester, was arrested and booked for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend on the 300 block of North Tower Avenue at 1:19 a.m. Sunday. He also had an outstanding warrant out of Olympia. 

Organized Retail Theft

• Ashley L. Leonard, 30, Adrianne R. Lindgrin, 27, and Rebecca C. Wilcox, 41, all of Longview, were booked into the Lewis County Jail in connection to organized retail theft at 5:41 p.m. Saturday for allegedly stealing from the Centralia Outlet Mall on the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue.  Wilcox was also arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine.  About $1,000 worth of property was stolen from four different stores. The property was recovered from a vehicle after it was stopped by a Washington State Patrol trooper near Exit 71 on Interstate 5. 

  Theft

• Donald P. Myers, 29, Centralia, was arrested and booked for allegedly stealing prescription medication from his ex-girlfriend on the 2800 block of Russell Road at 7:45 a.m. Sunday. 

Myers was cited and released earlier in the morning for third-degree theft after he allegedly took a beer from a business without paying at 4:40 a.m. Sunday on the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue. At 1:12 a.m., Myers was also cited and released for allegedly slashing a neighbor’s car tire at 1:12 a.m. Sunday on the 2800 block of Russell Road. 

• Someone reportedly syphoned 15 gallons of fuel from a vehicle parked on the 1000 block of South Gold Street, according to a report at 9:35 a.m. Saturday. 

 • A satellite DVR was reported stolen from a residence on the 600 block of Yew Street at 12:32 p.m. on Friday. 

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a porch on the 200 block of East Van Buren Street at 2:12 p.m. on Friday. 

Crash 

• A bicyclist was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for cuts and scrapes after he rode his bike into the roadway without stopping and was hit by a vehicle on at 121 West First St. at 4:31 p.m. Friday. 

Minor in Possession 

•  Dalton J. Taylor, 20, Chehalis, was arrested for alleged minor in possession of alcohol by consumption and providing false information to a public servant at 11:24 p.m. Friday. Taylor was contacted inside a tavern on the 300 block of North Tower Avenue. 

Disorderly Conduct

• Kristine M. Hiatt, 40, Morton, was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly striking another patron in a tavern on the 100 block of South Tower Avenue at about 9:51 p.m. Saturday. She then allegedly walked outside and began to disrobe. The other patron did not know Hiatt. 

•  James C. Murphy, 27, Randle, was arrested for alleged disorderly conduct after he was kicked out of a local tavern and tried to forcefully re-enter the establishment. 

 

Chehalis Police Department 

Theft 

• A bicycle was reported stolen on the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at 9:19 p.m. Friday. 

• Someone stole a shopping cart full of laundry soap from Safeway at 8:07 p.m. Sunday. The suspect left in a blue car with no licence plates. 

Malicious Mischief

• Someone reportedly keyed a Jeep Cherokee, scratching the hood and doors, at 10:42 p.m. Friday on the 1000 block of Southeast Adams Avenue. 

Vehicle Prowl 

• A purse, carrying a wallet and medication, was reported stolen out of a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Northwest State Avenue at 7:27 a.m. Sunday. 

• A wallet with cash and identification was reported stolen at 4:32 p.m. Sunday on the 300 block of Southwest Third Street. 

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office 

Train Ride Goes Bad for Transients

• Transients Kristen R. Pegg, 19, Eric A Lovato, 22 and Nicholas A. Fookes, 24, were all referred to the prosecutor’s office for charges of criminal trespassing at 10 a.m on Friday after they were caught riding on a southbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train. The train stopped at Conrad Road in Chehalis, where law enforcement officials spoke with the transients. 

Metal Theft

• Shawn R. Lemes, 27, Vader, and Dustin L. Larkin, 22, Shelton, were both arrested and booked for criminal trespass and malicious mischief at noon on Friday for allegedly stealing metal from a Sierra Pacific line by the 1500 block of state Route 506 in Vader. The total loss is $500. 

Violation of Protection Order

• Mickey W. Graham, 23, Silver Creek, was arrested and booked for violation of a protection order and four outstanding warrants at 10 a.m. Saturday on the 2900 block of U.S. Highway 12. 

Theft

• Thirty sheets of roofing tin were reported stolen at 10 a.m. Saturday on 100 Kjesbu Road in Silver Creek. The total loss is $300. 

Man Uses Ax to Get Beer

• A suspect, described as a white male with gray hair and dressed in black, used an ax to break into a Shell Station on Mulford Road in Toledo and stole three six-packs of beer. An employee noticed the damaged window on Saturday and surveillance video showed the man leave in a blue truck with a black canopy. 

 

Grays Harbor Fire District 1 - Oakville 

House Fire

• A fire completely destroyed a house and garage near the intersection of Cedar Street and Newton Street in Oakville early Monday morning. The fire started in the single-car garage and spread to the house.  No injuries were reported in the fire and the house was unoccupied. The house and garage are a total loss. Tenants had planned to move into the house. The cause of the fire has not been determined. The fire reached a neighbor’s property and caused smoke damage and melted plastic skylights in a metal shop building 15 feet from the house fire.  Grays Harbor Fire District 1 was assisted by Grays Harbor Fire District 5 and West Thurston Fire Authority. Crews arrived at 6:52 a.m. and had the fire controlled by 8 a.m.
