I’m writing in joint support of the following school board candidates: Vickie Jackson, Beverly Clark, and Mandi McDougall. These are three strong members of the community stepping up to leadership roles. Each holds solid business and professional backgrounds and interests and will bring these important backgrounds into their new roles. They all represent a breath of fresh air and a set of new, valuable perspectives.
Please remember these candidates are pursuing non-partisan roles supporting education. This is a critical time for the board and it needs non-partisan decision-making. Each must do the right thing for our students’ futures. I am confident they will do so having met and assessed each of them to be sure they have solid moral fiber. They do!
I support the students, the teachers, the community, and a future trustworthy school board. My own spouse is a hard-working teacher. It is important to remember that we are all on the same side, the side of our students and their education future. The students represent our community’s future. A vote for these strong three: Vickie Jackson, Beverly Clark, and Mandi McDougall will help build that future.
