Letter to the Editor: We Need a Positive Change in the Assessor’s Office, Vote for Price

Posted

How many times have you stood back and shook your head at things going on in our county? If you are like most people, it’s every day.

So much of the change we need in Lewis County is within our walls of the courthouse and the people who are elected to make choices for us, and our families.

The time for change is now, and it is up to each one of us to make our voices heard and vote. I hear people complain day in and day out about the assessor’s office and how something needs to be done.

They are right. We need a positive change in that office, someone who is an advocate for the people of our county who will listen and because of experience, knows how to make a difference.

We deserve a positive leader who knows our community and is involved in it. Amanda Price is that person. She is that change. Amanda has no issue getting her hands dirty while being a volunteer in the community. Boy Scouts, Miss Lewis County, 4-H, Relay for Life, these are just a few of the organizations that she has given her time to. All of this while being a wife, mom, daughter, neighbor, coworker and friend.

Amanda knows the Assessor’s Office well and she knows the changes that need to come about. Her campaign is not centered around what is best for her; it is about making positive change for us.

Amanda has the experience, the knowledge and the passion to deserve our votes. With her past experience working in the assessor’s office and her vast knowledge managing the IT department for the county, Amanda knows what needs fixed, and once she is elected she can hit the ground running.

Make your vote count, make it count for change, positive change! The Price is Right, and the time is now. Cast your vote for the change we need. Vote Amanda Price for Lewis County assessor. You won’t be sorry!
