A CO2 tax extorts peoples’ money (intended for food, clothes, shelter, fuel for heating and vehicles) and wastes it on detritus. A CO2 tax removes money from effective useful activities. My college economics professor said, “Economics is the application of limited means (money) to alternate ends” (highest priority items, like saving lives). We trade our time (our lives) for money; Democrats’ CO2 taxes steal part of your life for their harmful socialist agendas.
Antarctic ice core records for the last 800,000 years show that as the sun itself warms with its increasing Total Solar Irradiance (TSI) in its’ normal 200-year heat cycle, Earth (with oceans) always warms up first. Atmospheric (Atm) CO2 increases never occur before Earth’s annual average global temperature increases. CO2 concentration in the Atmosphere is uncorrelated, long term, with annual average global temperature. Thousands of active Basaltic volcanoes and tens of thousands of their associated hot springs, in ocean depths where crustal plates are pulling apart, emit tremendous CO2 quantities that are instantly absorbed in the unsaturated cold ocean water. One hot spring emits more CO2 than a thousand-megawatt coal-fired generator plant. Atm CO2 is a trace gas of 400 parts per million (ppm), mostly from Ocean water evaporation. OSHA says working in air with 4000 ppm CO2 is OK; we will never see 4000 ppm with present Atm CO2 increase rates. CO2 contributes nothing to the Earth energy balance equation averaged over 20 years. Gestalt view: People’s capability is, by his purposeful design and construction, miniscule compared to “nature.” The sun, not CO2, causes increased Earth (and Mars, etc) warming and also planetary cooling.
Ergo, Anthropogenic (people caused) Global Warming (AGW) is impossible.
The sun warms Earth continuously; warm Earth cools by energy (in Joules = Watt-seconds) radiation to frigid space. The sun sent energy via sunlight (*Total Solar Irradiance, TSI) at 1366 Watts (max) per square meter of projected Earth area in 1990 AD. Sun-to-earth energy transfer rate is not constant, it’s cyclic.
It’s now decreasing so the sun allows Earth, Mars, etc., to cool. When TSI reduces ½%, Earth is deep in a mini-ice age (MIA). We started into the 19th MIA in the last 7,500 years in 1990; Sun now cools on the Maunder (sunspot) Minimum TSI curve (1645 - 1715 AD). Maunder was the coldest period in Little Ice Age (1280-1830 AD).
Sun energy deposited on Earth/Oceans equaled a Billion One Megaton (of TNT) Nuke explosions in 1990 AD. This is 114,155 (1MT bombs/hour) for a year. A TNT-MT is 2 billion pounds (4 billion sticks, 8 inches long by 1.25 inch diameter). Each ½ pound TNT stick contains 1 million Joules of energy. Energy (1 MT Nuke) is 4.18 times 1015 Joules; a billion megaton nuke;ss energy = (4,180,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Joules ), i.e. 4.18 times 1024 Joules/year. (1/2) percent = 2.09 times 1022 joules = 5 Million, 1MT Nukes/Yr.]
Washington citizens must prepare for a very cold mini-ice-age so people won’t die early. But, Democrats want to extort your money/life to implement their socialist agenda. Citizens must continuously complain loudly to stop CO2 taxes.
