Letter to the Editor: Toledo High School is Aged — Vote Yes on Bond

Posted

I moved to Toledo in 1974, the same year that the high school was built. I have lived and worked in Toledo for 44 years. Coming from a big city I was amazed of the spirit of a small community. The residents have always supported the kids’ sports no matter what the weather. I have watched the residents come together and donate their time and resources to make the facilities better. I know that the technology has been upgraded in the past to help the kids in the computer age, but now the high school has aged like me. And like I was replaced, so the high school needs to be replaced also. The 76 cent per thousand is something that the retired people in the Toledo School District. can handle. The people of Toledo would be fools to not pass the levy. Please vote yes.
